Welcome to It's NOTED, LLC:
Neurodivergents Overcoming The Executive Functioning Deficit
(Functioning is silent ... get it? Ha!)
At It's NOTED, we specialize in helping families with neurodivergent profiles overcome executive functioning challenges, providing tailored solutions for home, community, and educational success.
A lack of executive functioning skills is VERY much a part of our lives in neurodivergency and is NOT a reflection of poor parenting or a lack of effort. Each of our needs is unique and there isn't a cookie-cutter approach as is often presented. We all learn skills differently and at different paces and in different ways, and that is the beauty of our neurodivergency!!!
We've streamlined multiple resources, hundreds of hours of education, Masters levels courses, specialties in Neuroscience, all into one concise program - highlighting effective methods that can easily be woven into daily life in multiple environments.
We also work with students who need supports in Reading Comprehension and Writing. When we lack executive functioning skills, it can directly impact language, reading, and writing - especially on large research papers.

NOW OFFERING SCHOOL
& IEP SUPPORTS:
At It's NOTED, LLC, we can review neuropsychs and school testing, along with IEPs, to help you understand the cognitive profile of your child and what supports are needed for them to fully grow into their potential. We also can help you understand and develop IEP goals for your children and represent their needs in an IEP meeting.
What makes us different? Not only can we help support you in understanding your child's unique profile and securing school supports, but we can also customize and provide 1:1 supports to help shore up any gaps quicker.
Please note, there's never any guarantees if supports will help close the gaps as every child and every brain is different and each one responds differently. We use neuroscience and research based best practices to try and unlock your child's potential.

IEP/Educational Consulting Supports
Executive Functioning is often brushed off as a "everyone struggles" deficit, but this isn't accurate. Some children require far more supports to shore up these gaps than others.
At It's NOTED, we're here to review your child's individualized tests and help guide you in the special education world, how to secure additional testing, and how to advocate for your child.
We are here to support you and your child!

About It's NOTED
I thought growing up was hard ... and then I became a parent.
Watching my sons grow up with similar struggles was heart wrenching and I didn't want them to have to stumble - learning with emotionally skinned knees like I did. When my kids were young, I became engrossed in fully learning about our flavor of neurodivergency and mental health challenges. Because, let's be real for a second, how could I - who has all these same struggles - truly help them develop what I lacked? It was terrifying!
Falling back on my English degree that built a strong secondary educational and research foundation, I jumped into the mental health advocacy world fighting hard for the voices of our teens to be heard - especially our twice exceptional ADHD boys. For their struggles to be understood. For their hearts to be seen and felt. What I found was a lack of resources tailored to shoring up the executive functioning deficits so many of us face that can significantly impact our worlds. In true ADHD fashion, I became a collector of textbooks, courses, certifications, and academic journals - learning everything I could about executive functioning and unwrapping the neurodivergent blocks. While those of us with ADHD & mental health struggles may never hit the neurotypical ability to be perfectly super organized, highly efficient at tackling tasks, or perfectionists at emotion regulation, there are tools to learn to make it easier and more fluid for us so we don't have to struggle as hard.
Together we can explore shoring up our weaknesses in a socially awkward, non-judgmental environment.
Enveloping my love for language and writing, I also work 1:1 or in small groups with all students who need extra supports in the English Language Arts. We can work on reading, reading comprehension, and writing difficulties. I have experience working with Specific Learning Disabilities in addition to my ADHD certifications.
My background also includes working as an editor for a specialized reading program and writing/developing specialized curriculum for a wide range of ages. I am also a published writer/author who can adapt writing styles to fit a myriad of needs.
Welcome to It's NOTED where we embrace - with no apologies - our neurodiversity.
